Rodent Facts

A single female mouse can produce up to 10 litters each year, with litter sizes reaching 10 - 15 babies per litter.

Rodents

Rodents can be a a nuisance in a house hold environment. Being such small mammals give them the ability to exist just about anywhere. Mice usually stay with in 30’ from there nest and can fit through an 6mm opening. Mice like to create their nests in wall cavities, attics, and other warm crevasses.

Although a mouse doesn’t live longer than a year, their reproduction rate is astronomical. A small family of mice can easily turn into 50+ individuals in 3 months!

Although rare, wild populations of mice have been known to carry a virus called hantavirus. Hantavirus is a disease that effects the respiratory system and if left untreated can be fatal.
