Goose Facts

Geese tend to gather in large flocks, sometimes numbering in the hundreds and the average goose produces up to 1.5 pounds of excrement per day. This kind of volume can devastate golf courses, commercial parks, and residential areas in a very short time.

Goose Management

Our Goose and bird management programs are one of the many features that set us apart from other removal companies. We have spent many man hours training our birds of prey and border collies to implement a predator presence and apply hazing methods to prevent and remove your unwanted nuisance birds.

Geese quickly populate rural areas and don’t seem to experience much predation in these areas, leading to explosions in the population. The main problem geese cause is the large amount of feces they produce. Because geese return to the same nesting site year after year, the best way to remove them is to instil a predator presence in the areas where they nest. Our main method stems from implementing a hazing program through the use of border collies. The border collie mimics the goose's natural predator - a coyote, and with generations of herding live stock bred into these dogs, they are very efficient and minimally invasive when used for goose control.
